Adam Schiff Releases Statement On Public Impeachment Hearings

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff announced today that open impeachment hearings will begin next week.

The first people to publicly testify would be William Taylor and George Kent. William Taylor is the top U.S. diplomat to Ukraine while George Kent is deputy assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian Affairs. These two will answer questions on Wednesday.

Former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch would testify Friday, Nov. 15.

Rep. Adam Schiff made the announcement on Twitter.

Next week, the House Intelligence Committee will hold its first open hearings as part of the impeachment inquiry. On Wednesday, November 13, 2019, we will hear from William Taylor and George Kent. On Friday, November 15, 2019, we will hear from Marie Yovanovitch.More to come. ” – Schiff tweeted.
