Gallup Poll: Rep. Ocasio-Cortez Well-Known But Mostly Disliked Across the Country

A new Gallup poll released today revealed that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has a huge name recognition, but is mostly disliked.

Gallup poll reports “half of U.S. adults were unfamiliar with or had no opinion of her in September” after her upset primary win against incumbent Rep. Joe Crowley. Now two months into office, only 29 percent of people say they do not know who she is.

31 percent of those polled said they had a favorable view of Ocasio-Cortez, while 41 percent said they had an unfavorable view of her.

Her polling was abysmal among men, white people, and people aged 55 and older. Her best polling was unsurprisingly among Democrats and minorities.

“How Americans at large view Ocasio-Cortez will likely not factor much in her future representing Queens and the Bronx in Congress,” Gallup concludes. “But given the national platform she’s attained, her ratings may matter more as her career progresses, and as she attempts to pass sweeping legislation like the New Green Deal she has sponsored in the House.”

Well, no wonder the people don’t like her. All she does is criticize everyone and slamming all critics. She should start focusing in the Congress more and stop spending so much time on Twitter.
