Little League Champs Visit WH – Trump Gives Them Unforgettable Surprise

The suburban New Orleans youth team spent a big day at the White House on Friday celebrating their win of the 2019 Little League World Series. However, Trump definitely surprised the kids when he decided to fly them on Air Force One back home.

Members of the championship Little League team got to spend some time with Trump, talking with him and taking pictures in the Oval Office. They definitely looked happy hanging out with the President.

However, what Trump did next for them definitely made them even more happy. He invited the whole team to fly on Air Force One back home.

Trump was traveling to Louisiana for a rally later that night and, after meeting up with them at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland, gave the boys a lift home they will never forget.

Twitter went wild over this.

Steve Scalise tweeted, “The champs are flying back to Louisiana on Air Force One with @realDonaldTrump after celebrating their Little League World Series Championship victory at The @WhiteHouse! What an amazing day! I’m so proud of this team!

Mike Johnson tweeted, “Classic @realDonaldTrump! La Eastbank All Stars (2019 Little League world champions) just happened to be visiting the White House today–when the president called an audible and invited them to JOIN US on Air Force One for the flight back to LA!

Reporter Mark Knoller tweeted, “By protocol, the president is first off the front steps of Air Force One. But the Eastbank Little League Champions got the distinction tonight, flying back home to Louisiana on the presidential aircraft after visiting with @POTUS at the WH.
