President Trump And Kanye West Send Twitter Into A Frenzy

On Wednesday, Twitter erupted over a series of tweets from President Donald Trump and rapper Kanye West as the two men showed their respect for one another on the social media platform.

Kanye tweeted: “You don’t have to agree with trump but the mob can’t make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone. I don’t agree with everything anyone does. That’s what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought.”

President Trump responded by writing: “Thank you Kanye, very cool!”

Kanye also tweeted a photo of himself wearing a Make America Great Again hat that was signed by Trump:

Kanye then tweeted a photo of himself on a poster that said, “Keep America Great. #KANYE2024.” The term “Keep America Great” is the campaign slogan for Trump’s 2020 campaign.

The reaction to Trump’s and Kanye’s tweets was mostly positive on the political Right and expectedly sent the political Left into doomsday mode:

The Grammy-winner also hinted at a potential meeting between himself and President Trump supporter-venture capitalist Peter Thiel.

“I’m so happy to hear that Peter Thiel would like to take a meeting. I feel very optimistic about the future,” West wrote.

Earlier on Wednesday, Kanye West had posted, “You don’t have to agree with trump but the mob can’t make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone. I don’t agree with everything anyone does. That’s what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought.”
