San Francisco 49er’s linebacker Reuben Foster was arrested this weekend for domestic violence and having illegal weapons. This is Foster’s second arrest in a month.
TMZ broke the story:
According to the Los Gatos Monte Sereno Police Department … Foster was arrested Sunday morning after cops responded to a welfare check and possible disturbance call. They say the 49ers star was arrested without incident.
He was booked on three separate charges — domestic violence, threats and possession of an assault weapon. No further details were immediately available.
About a month ago, Foster was arrested in Alabama for marijuana possession.
Well, the player who took a knee to protest the police, is now being accused of harming a woman and booked on three separate charges.
Right after the incident, the 49ers responded by saying … “The San Francisco 49ers organization is aware of the report regarding Reuben Foster. We take matters of this nature seriously and are gathering all pertinent information.”
Clearly, Foster’s behavior leaves no other options for the 49ers except for them to cut him out. The league is trying to clean up its image, and allowing men who allegedly beat women and possessing illegal weapons won’t be tolerated.
