Trump calls on Fox News to ‘bring back’ Jeanine Pirro

President Donald Trump took to Twitter on Sunday morning to urge Fox News to bring back host Jeanine Pirro after her show didn’t air Saturday evening.

In a series of tweets, Trump called for Fox News to not allow the “radical” Left silence one of his most prominent supporters.

“Bring back [Judge Jeanine Pirro]. The Radical Left Democrats, working closely with their beloved partner, the Fake News Media, is using every trick in the book to SILENCE a majority of our Country. They have all out campaigns against @FoxNews hosts who are doing too well,” Trump tweeted.

Last week, Pirro used her opening monologue to throw a rant against Rep. Ilhan Omar.

The monologue prompted swift condemnation by the network, which said her comments “do not reflect those of the network and we have addressed the matter with her directly.”

Pirro, however, said that her remarks were meant to start a debate.

Still, after some advertisers began to cut ties, Pirro’s show did not air this Saturday. In a statement to Variety, a Fox News spokesperson said, “We’re not commenting on internal scheduling matters.”

In another tweet, Trump told Fox News to “fight back,” and referred to another host who has been under fire lately, Tucker Carlson.

“Fox must stay strong and fight back with vigor. Stop working soooo hard on being politically correct, which will only bring you down, and continue to fight for our Country. The losers all want what you have, don’t give it to them,” he added. “Be strong & prosper, be weak & die! Stay true to the people that got you there. Keep fighting for Tucker, and fight hard for @JudgeJeanine. Your competitors are jealous – they all want what you’ve got – NUMBER ONE. Don’t hand it to them on a silver platter. They can’t beat you, you can only beat yourselves!”
