Trump Blasts Mueller Report Following Release Announcement

On Monday, the Department of Justice announced plans to release a redacted version of special counsel Robert Mueller’s report to Congress and the public on Thursday.

Shortly after, President Donald Trump has expressed his disgust with the special counsel’s investigation via Twitter, slamming the authority of the report.

“The Mueller Report, which was written by 18 Angry Democrats who also happen to be Trump Haters (and Clinton Supporters), should have focused on the people who SPIED on my 2016 Campaign, and others who fabricated the whole Russia Hoax. That is, never forget, the crime since there was no Collusion, why was there an Investigation in the first place! Answer – Dirty Cops, Dems and Crooked Hillary!” Trump wrote on his official Twitter account.

This comes after DOJ spokeswoman Kerri Kupec made the announcement about the releasing of the report.

The Mueller report is reportedly 400 pages long. It’s expected to describe the legal analysis and factual findings that support the conclusions previously shared by Attorney General William Barr in a four-page summary of the report last month.

According to William Barr, Mueller concluded that Trump’s campaign did not collude with Russia. Mueller did not establish whether or not Trump obstructed justice, but Barr said that he and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein concluded there was insufficient evidence to charge the president with obstruction.
