Trump Slams Eric Holder For “Dangerous Statement”

President Trump weighed in on recent remarks made by former Attorney General Eric Holder, saying he made a “dangerous statement.”

Holder echoed Hillary Clinton‘s idea that civility in political discourse is out of the question in today’s era.

“He better be careful what he’s wishing for,” Trump told Fox News. “That is a disgusting statement for him to make. For him to make a statement like that is a very dangerous statement.”

Holder rejected the famous slogan of former first lady Michelle Obama, “When they go low, we go high,” and instead said “when they go low, we kick ‘em.”

His statement was met with applause from the audience.

Trump said he is the opposite of Holder because he holds “really calm and well run” rallies.

Trump then pivoted to Holder and Clinton’s remarks.

“When I hear Holder making a statement like he did today, I think it’s a disgrace,” Trump continued. “And Hillary, I really understand. She just doesn’t get it. She never did. She never will. And that’s why she lost.”

Bream concluded the interview by expressing hope that civility can be restored in this country, something that the president agreed with.
