Trump Tweets: Slams media for ignoring Facebook VP’s comments about Russian ads

President Trump delivered a set of tweets Saturday afternoon, once again criticizing the mainstream media and retweeting the VP of Facebook ads, Rob Goldman, who previously said, “I can say very definitely” that the Russians “main goal” was not swaying the 2016 presidential election with ads.

Then he continued, by tweeting: “The Fake News Media never fails. Hard to ignore this fact from the Vice President of Facebook Ads, Rob Goldman!”

The president retweeted Goldman’s thread, in which the Vice President of Facebook ads wrote: “The majority of the Russian ad spend happened AFTER the election. We shared that fact, but very few outlets have covered it because it doesn’t align with the main media narrative of Tump and the election.”

Later, Trump once again referred to one of Goldman’s tweets, writing:  “I have seen all of the Russian ads and I can say very definitively that swaying the election was *NOT* the main goal.” Rob Goldman, Vice President of Facebook Ads.

He retweeted another of Goldman’s posts:

Most of the coverage of Russian meddling involves their attempt to effect the outcome of the 2016 US election. I have seen all of the Russian ads and I can say very definitively that swaying the election was *NOT* the main goal.
