During Tuesday’s broadcast of ABC’s “The View,” the hateful hosts attacked Vice President Mike Pence for his Christian faith. They called him mentally ill since he claims that he heard Jesus speak to him.
The famous anti-Trump hosts decided to show respect for fired White House staffer Omarosa Manigault, who was accused of being a “vicious, duplicitous, lying, conniving, backstabbing piece of work,” and gave her a huge credit for her claims about Vice President Mike Pence.
Joy, Whoopi, and the rest of the View’s cast jumped on Omarosa’s claims about Pence’s faith, with host Sunny Hostin, Catholic, calling his belief in God “dangerous.”
“When you have a Mike Pence who now puts this religious veneer on things and who calls people values voters, I think we’re this a dangerous situation,” Sunny said. “Look I’m Catholic. I’m a faithful person, but I don’t know that I want my vice president, um — speaking in tongues and having Jesus speak to him.”
It was at that moment that the show’s most contemptuous host, Joy Behar, jumped in and called Pence mentally ill for his faith.
“Like I said before, it’s one thing to talk to Jesus,” Behar said. “It’s another thing when Jesus talks to you.”
“Exactly. That’s different!” Hostin said enthusiastically.
“That’s called mental illness if I’m not correct. Hearing voices,” Behar continued.
What do you think about this? Do you think The View hosts crossed the line?
